HELP US SUPPORT ALL LIFE BY STOPPING SMART METERS IN LONGMONT!!!

HERE’S THE SCOOP:

Longmont4SafeTech (Longmont for Safe Technology), citizens and residents who are in favor of a moratorium on the smart meter rollout in Longmont, are asking you for your monetary pledges. Your pledges are not to be collected quite yet, but are accumulating toward the goal of legal action of a high caliber aimed at halting the smart meter rollout in Longmont even while looking for other, more benign solutions to the city’s goals that allows Longmont to redirect onto a different trajectory. Shifting tracks can enable us to be a shining example for others, of people power over corporate  (yes, the City of Longmont IS a corporation – look it up in Dunn and Bradstreet) agendas, and an exemplar of visionary thinking, embodying more of the future promise of a world with safe technology and less of the past, with its many errors in judgment on this subject by governments and individuals alike, that have allowed us to be where we are today, a world in peril from the unbridled proliferation of wireless technology.  The evidence AND science show – smart meters carry so many risks, to public health, of smart meter fires, to the biological well-being of flora and fauna, of hacking and security incursions and various code violations, and on it goes, besides NOT being green technology, as claimed…..that the city must stop what it is doing until the meters can be proven to be safe (as well as capable of getting us to our energy goals) in writing and hard evidence, and certified by one or more true and independent Professional Engineer/s (aka P.E.) who are qualified as experts in this field to make that evaluation!!! Even better, immediately abandon the project in favor of the Precautionary Principle (electro-mechanical analog meters, anyone?). We believe, if the people were given a real and independent education on this matter, along with a chance to vote on it, the meters would likely be rejected. We have achieved our initial pledge goal of $10,000, and a little more to boot, will you be the next to pledge? Nothing is too small, nor too large, although donors with deep pockets, an environmental awareness, a high moral standard, and love of life on this planet are “encouraged to apply!” Your donation will be fully tax-deductible through a 501-C3 not-for-profit partner in this endeavor.

Contact:  longmont4safetech@gmail.com today with your pledge!!!
